Thank you for the release of version 2.2 making a great program even better.

I am pleased my suggestion of incorporating spell checking into the discription field was useful. It will be a great boon to me as my spelling is not good.

It is great that the list of people now tries in with the field the Lightroom 3 now has. It will make life easier. One question of this, will it also still write to the old place so iView still be able to read the information.

I really think this is a great little program and is definately value for money.


Just one final thought. What I see this program doing for me is being able to easily annotate my photographs, and in particular with geocoding inforamtion. One thing that has been talked about on various forums is that of facial recognition, a tool that would assist with the annotation of photos of people. I am not convinced how much use it would be if you annotate you pictures as yue go. Is it somthing that might be considered for PhotoLinker or not.

Facial recognition is something that is built into other programs, including iPhoto, with mixed success. In my view, its not a "core function" for PhotoLinker and time would be wasted (quite a bit of time, by the way), trying to include that feature.
