iPhoto 09 and 11 replace my location i formation

Hello,
I use GPSPL to geotag and set location (city .. country) information to my photos.
The iPhotos lookup (based on Gps coordinates) not work here in Hungary. It replaces the filled location information to wrong ones.
Is there any way to disable iPhoto lookup or any possibilities to replace the location information with a script after import based on original's EXIF metadata?

Unfortunately, no. iPhoto is a little weird in that the locations shown (city, state, country) don't come from, and aren't saved to, the photo's metadata. That data is looked-up from an Apple-controlled database and isn't actually saved to the photo. So you're totally locked-in to what Apple chooses, if you use iPhoto.
